🔒 בקצרה: המרות הקבצים הרגילות ב-ConvertNest מתבצעות מקומית, בתוך הדפדפן שלך. פיצ׳רי AI אופציונליים שולחים את התוכן הרלוונטי ישירות לספק שבחרת, ורק כאשר אתה מפעיל אותם.
1. איזה מידע נאסף
אנחנו לא מפעילים איסוף מידע משלנו. אין הרשמה, אין חשבון, אין אנליטיקס ואין פרסומות מצד ConvertNest. חיבורי רשת מתבצעים רק לצורך טעינת ספריות קוד חיצוניות או שימוש יזום בפיצ׳רי AI, כמפורט בהמשך.
2. עיבוד הקבצים
כל ההמרות (תמונות, אודיו, וידאו, מסמכים, טקסט) רצות כולן בדפדפן באמצעות טכנולוגיית WebAssembly ו-Canvas.
הקבצים נטענים לזיכרון הזמני של הדפדפן בלבד ונמחקים כשסוגרים את הדף. הם אינם מועלים לרשת במסגרת ההמרות הרגילות. אם PDF דורש סיסמת פתיחה, הסיסמה משמשת בזיכרון רק לצורך הפעולה הנוכחית ואינה נשמרת.
3. אחסון מקומי
ההגדרות שלך (שפה, ערכת צבע, שם משתמש והיסטוריית המרות בסיסית) נשמרות ב-localStorage של הדפדפן. מפתח API נשמר כברירת מחדל רק למשך סשן הדפדפן; רק אם בוחרים במפורש “זכור את המפתח במכשיר” הוא נשמר ב-localStorage. ניתן להסיר אותו בכל רגע באמצעות “שכח מפתח” או ניקוי נתוני האתר.
4. פיצ׳רי בינה מלאכותית (Pro · BYOK)
פיצ׳רים אופציונליים כמו תמלול, סיכום ותיאור תמונה דורשים מפתח API משלך (Gemini / OpenAI / Claude).
כאשר אתה משתמש בהם, הטקסט או האודיו הרלוונטי נשלח ישירות מהדפדפן שלך אל הספק שבחרת — ולא דרכנו.
השימוש כפוף למדיניות הפרטיות של אותו ספק. המפתח נשלח רק לספק שבחרת לצורך הקריאה ואינו נשלח אלינו. כברירת מחדל הוא נשמר רק לסשן, אלא אם בחרת במפורש לזכור אותו במכשיר.
5. ספריות חיצוניות
לצורך המרות מדיה ומסמכים נטענות ספריות קוד פתוח מרשתות CDN ציבוריות (למשל ffmpeg.wasm, pdf.js ו-Tesseract.js). בשימוש הראשון ב-OCR יורדים גם נתוני השפה שנבחרה (עברית ו/או אנגלית), והדפדפן עשוי לשמור אותם במטמון. אלו קבצי קוד ומודל בלבד — התמונות ומסמכי ה-PDF שלך מעובדים מקומית ואינם נשלחים אליהן.

🔒 In short: standard file conversions in ConvertNest run locally, inside your browser. Optional AI features send only the relevant content directly to the provider you chose, and only when you use them.
1. What we collect
ConvertNest does not run its own data collection. There is no sign-up, account, analytics or advertising. Network connections are used only to load external code libraries or when you intentionally use an AI feature, as described below.
2. File processing
All conversions (images, audio, video, documents, text) run entirely in your browser via WebAssembly and Canvas. Files are held only in temporary browser memory and are discarded when you close the page. They are not uploaded as part of standard conversions. If a PDF requires an open password, that password is used in memory only for the current operation and is not saved.
3. Local storage
Your settings (language, theme, username and basic conversion history) are saved in the browser's localStorage. API keys are session-only by default; only if you explicitly choose “Remember key on this device” are they persisted in localStorage. You can remove the key at any time with “Forget key” or by clearing site data.
4. AI features (Pro · BYOK)
Optional features like transcription, summary and image description require your own API key (Gemini / OpenAI / Claude). When you use them, the relevant text or audio is sent directly from your browser to the provider you chose — not through us. That use is governed by the provider's own privacy policy. The key is sent only to the provider you selected for the request and is never sent to us. By default it is kept only for the browser session unless you explicitly choose to remember it on the device.
5. Third-party libraries
Media and document conversions load open-source libraries from public CDNs (e.g. ffmpeg.wasm, pdf.js and Tesseract.js). On first OCR use, the selected Hebrew and/or English language data is also downloaded and may be cached by the browser. These are code and model files only — your images and PDFs are processed locally and are never sent to those CDNs.
